Refugees often face limited access to education and job opportunities,
leading to dependency and lack of self-sufficiency.
This transformative initiative is designed to provide refugees with a platform to develop essential technical and vocational skills such as Tailoring, Soap Manufacturing, Crafts, Hair Dressing, Bricks and Pavers Making, Baking, Information Technology, English language and Financial Literacy, access free quality education, and ultimately empower themselves. Our aspiration is to extend this impactful program to all refugee camps across Uganda, echoing our resounding belief in the potential of every refugee to contribute and integrate meaningfully to society.
The impact of the P-World Of Design Free Skilling Camp is evidently already being felt in the Nakivale Refugee Settlement, and with plans to continue the camp every three months, the hope is to empower as many refugees as possible through the power of education and skill development.
